A day in the life of me...

This was today's menu. Please keep in mind that all photos were taken with my phone today. Maybe when blogging becomes a habit again I will take out the old Rebel and take more advanced photos of my food. The whole point of today's activity is to show my readers what I eat on a normal day.

As a side note, I eat everything. I'm not on a special diet, nor will I be. I count calories and measure my food. Nothing is off limits. I just watch my portions and make sure I account for the calories eaten. I will delve more into why I count calories vs. following a special diet (i.e. Atkins or South Beach) in my next post. For now though, lets see what I ate today...

Breakfast - Fiber One Cereal, Frozen Blueberries, Almond Milk,
Coffee, SF French Vanilla Creamer, 2 Splendas.

Snack 1 - Fuji Apple & String Cheese.

Lunch - 4.4 oz. Chicken Breast, 1/2 C. Trader Joes prepared
Quinoa /w Vegetable Melange, 3.5 oz. Raw Avocado.

Lunch Drink - Gotta have my afternoon coffee!

Snack 2 - Black Cherry Greek Yogurt & Banana
Dinner - Potato soup, pork chop and sauted cabbage
After dinner I had my nightly "snack" of No Sugar Added Hot Chocolate but added 6 marshmallows just for kicks.

Snack 3 - Yummy hot chocolate!
